In 2018, Euan joined the coaching team as a full-time tennis coach, developing the student, staff, community, and junior tennis programmes. During semesters, Euan delivers sessions to A, B and C squad players in large groups, small groups and individually on a weekly basis. Outwith the university, Euan continues to develop his coaching skills alongside some of the top coaches in Scotland at their respective clubs or academies.

Previously, Euan spent nine months as the University of St Andrews Tennis Co-ordinator, which focused primarily on co-ordinating a schedule of student volunteering opportunities, mentoring student coaches, and organising additional match play opportunities against universities and local tennis clubs. During this time, Euan also started working with the student squads.

Euan is an LTA Level 3 coach, regularly working with players competing in the top two divisions of the Tayside Tennis Leagues, both on and off the court. He has great experience developing club tennis programmes and school club links, including teacher training workshops.

Euan achieved an honours degree in Sports Development covering key areas in sports performance such as Motor Control and Skill Acquisition, The Coaching process, Sports Psychology and Performer Improvement and Development. He continues to develop his knowledge in these areas through coach workshops, research and cutting-edge literature.

Pete joined the University of St Andrews in 2018 working within the Junior Saints multisport programme, which saw him working with kids aged 4-12 to provide experience and basic skills of a wide variety of sports including tennis, football, hockey, athletics and gymnastics. Having spent his early years as a coach working within a variety of clubs and programmes, Pete has great experience delivering to a range of age groups and ability levels.

Pete is a LTA Accredited Level 2 coach and is currently working to attain his Level 3 coach qualification over the summer months. Currently, he coaches at Wormit and Newport Tennis Club working alongside the rest of the coaching team to deliver a large junior and adult coaching programme. He has also been involved in running the Development and men’s C squad training sessions at the University of St Andrews Tennis Club.
